Household chores

Over the next few weeks while we are all doing our bit and staying at home, it is the perfect time to practice (or start) some key household chores. Which ones? You decide!

Below is an example list, you could turn this into a checklist / reward chart at home.

Instructions:

Have you...

In the bedroom

  • Made the bed

  • Picked up clothes


In the bathroom

  • Wipe the sink / shower clean

  • Disinfect handles

  • Wash / replace towels


In the kitchen

  • Loaded and emptied the dishwasher

  • Emptied the sink

  • Loaded and unloaded the washing machine

  • Mop the floor

  • Clean the worktops


Living room

  • Leave pillows tidy

  • Wipe coffee tables

  • Hoover the carpets

  • Take dishes to kitchen

  • Ironed your clothes

How you can support your child

While you are working, get a parent / carer to take a photo or video of you and post it to twitter tagging @OGATrust and using the hashtag #OGATchores. If you want to share a picture of you completing chores, you can submit it using the form found in the navigation bar titled "Tell us about it."
