We live in a world where there is so much to see and do, none of us have the time to see everything we would like to! There are lots of different ways in which we can experience everything we want to, virtually. Is there a place you have always wanted to visit? Is there a landmark you have always wanted to see? Well now you can!

Instructions:

  1. On a smartphone or tablet go to the AppStore or PlayStore and search for Google Expeditions.

  2. Download the app and then search and find somewhere you want to tour.

  3. Fill in the Virtual Learning log to show what you discovered - happy adventuring!

Google Expeditions

What did dinosaurs look like close-up? What does inside the human body look like? What is it like to travel around a coral reef? What did ancient Rome look like? So many questions we do not know the answers to! However with the Google Expeditions app, you can experience all these and more!

Google Expeditions can be downloaded on a smartphone, search for Google Expeditions on the AppStore or the Play Store.

Google Tour Creator

Have you been to an amazing place that you could not wait to tell others about? Is there somewhere you have always wanted to visit and need to plan your tour? Why not visit Google Tour Creator at https://arvr.google.com/tourcreator/ choose your starting location and add as many stops as you want, when you want and in whatever order you want - you are in control!

  1. Watch the tour creator tutorial.

  2. Create your own tour of an area that you want.

  3. Fill in the virtual learning log to describe the tour you have created.

  • Help your child download the app so they can try out Google Expeditions.

  • Go on a tour with them, you can do this if you both download the app onto a device
